Very Green Soup
Made for Mothers Very Green Soup is a restorative soup which is packed with green phytonutrient power & healing benefits from MFMs gelatinous 'Foundational Broth' base. Buckwheat imparts a wonderful texture to this soup and is gluten-free, alkalising & packed with antioxidant benefits.
MFMs restorative curries are handcrafted in small batches with careful consideration given to the sourcing of everything in the pot. I use organic produce from small local farms.
I have included buckwheat because it is a gluten-free, alkalising pseudo-cereal which contains two flavonoids (rutin & quercetin) that impart health promoting actions and antioxidant benefits. MFMs 'Foundational Broth' has been added to enhance the flavour of this soup and because it's full to the brim with the right goodness that your body needs to replenish and rebuild.

Warm your soup by bringing it to a slight boil, stirring regularly, then immediately take it off the heat, cool and consume. I like to consume my Very Green Soup as is. I also recommend topping it with a handful of nuts and seeds, some parmesan or goat cheese or even a sprinkle of your favourite spice mix.
