Sticky Beef Congee
Made for Mothers Sticky Beef Congee is a slow simmered rice porridge made with a collagen rich broth base, and served with asian greens and star anise & cinnamon infused slow cooked beef. A traditional Chinese offering, congee is believed to tonify the blood and qi energy, harmonise digestion and to offer a deeply nourishing meal. It is useful to increase a nursing mother's breast milk supply. And the addition of slow cooked meat increases the nutrient value of this meal.
Handcrafted in small batches, we give careful consideration to the sourcing of everything in the MFM pot. We use organic produce and support local, regenerative farms.

Serving Suggestions
You can warm your Sticky Beef Congee to a simmer altogether or seperate the beef and greens from the congee and warm one by one then reassemble. LOVE it as is. Or top with a sprinkle of chilli.
